SaFest 2021

After an extremely successful event last year, we are delighted to announce that SaFest – Devon’s Virtual Safeguarding Festival – will be back for a second year and will take place during the week of 22-26 November 2021.

Throughout this week, Devon Children and Families Partnership (DCFP) will be hosting SaFest 2021 online. The SaFest working group are pleased to announce that they have brought together an exciting range of key note speakers and workshop facilitators from a range of organisations and services, who either work with young people and adolescents or work in organisations that inform and influence best practice. All of the events that take place during SaFest week are free and can be accessed and enjoyed at the click of a mouse!

Although bookings are now closed, feel free to join us for other sessions that you may not have booked. To do so, please see the full schedule of events, which includes Microsoft Teams links to each of the individual speeches and workshops. And also feel free to pass the schedule onto friends and colleagues so that they can join us too.

Online Learning (e-learning and videos)

The following courses and videos are available on the Devon Learning Pool (DEL). If you have a DEL account, book a place on the training as normal. If you don’t have a DEL account, please complete the sign up form below. Please note that completing this form doesn’t automatically mean you will be allocated a place on the course; you will receive an email confirming that you’ve been given a place.

If you work in areas within Torbay or Plymouth only, it is recommended that you attend their Safeguarding respective partnership training instead. Please see the Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership website or the Torbay Safeguarding Children Partnership website for more details.
