Following the tragic death of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, the Safeguarding Network, Dartington – one of our commissioned training providers – has arranged a short webinar to explore initial learning points from the information shared to date.
They will also take a look at the six key practice themes, as identified in the research by the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel following their analysis of the 482 serious incident notifications received during 2020 in England and Wales, and consider how these points highlight areas of practice we can all focus on. These include inter-agency communication, quality of information and looking at the child’s lived experience.
This is such an important area of learning that they are offering this webinar free of charge.
The webinar will be presented by John Woodhouse, one of the founding directors, and Heather Fowler, our new Operations Director.
