We would like to share the opportunity for you to attend an Introduction to Mental Health training day on Tuesday 23rd November.
This training session is targeted at those who engage with secondary school young people. The sessions are usually £50 per person but, as an introductory offer, we are proposing ‘buy one get one free’.
We’re very keen to get your thoughts and feedback on this course.
The event consists of practical and interactive sessions covering a range of topics to improve confidence when talking about mental health and, in particular, a greater understanding of young people’s mental health.
The following areas will be discussed:
- Greater confidence to talk about mental health
- Tools to support these conversations
- Information and knowledge about mental wellbeing
- Insights into risk, attachment and trauma
- An understanding of positive psychology and resilience
The event will run from 9.45am-3pm at the Courtenay Centre in Newton Abbot (there is parking on site).
Places are limited, the session will have a maximum of 27 people. If you would like to book your place, please email email@example.com
Bookings can be made until midday on Monday 22nd November.
