To mark Anti-Slavery Day 2020, Devon & Torbay Anti-Slavery Partnership is hosting a webinar on the impacts of Covid-19 on modern slavery.
All frontline staff and volunteers from statutory, non-statutory, NGO and faith communities are invited by the Devon & Torbay Anti-Slavery Partnership to attend this learning event exploring Modern Slavery in Devon & Cornwall, and the impact of Covid-19 on Modern Slavery in the UK.
We will hear from Devon & Cornwall Chief Constable and national policing lead for Modern Slavery Shaun Sawyer, along with input from the National Crime Agency, and colleagues from Anti-Slavery charity Unseen UK. There will be opportunities for Q&A with speakers following the presentations.
The webinar is FREE and will accommodate a maximum of 100 participants. We anticipate the event to be oversubscribed and therefore urge partners to register their interest at their earliest opportunity via the below Eventbrite link below.
Attendees are asked to be ready at 9:50am for a prompt 10am start.
