9th March 2021 – 1:30pm – 5:00pm & 11th March 2021 – 3:00pm – 4:30pm both sessions need to be attended in full.

This course is now delivered in 2 modules, over two dates and includes pre-course study and some tasks you will complete at home.

Important Information

This course is suitable for staff and volunteers who work with children, young people, families and parents or carers where they are in a position to identify signs of child abuse or neglect and who may then be asked to contribute to assessing, planning or intervening and reviewing the needs of the child and parenting capacity where there are safeguarding concerns. This course is also suitable for Designated Safeguarding Officers and Deputies.

THIS TRAINING IS NOW DELIVERED VIRTUALLY – there is no venue.
This multi-agency safeguarding training incorporates the competencies described in Working Together 2018 and the Intercollegiate Document : Safeguarding Children & Young People.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation Policy – unless there are extenuating circumstances, you will be charged if you don’t attend or if you cancel your place less than 4 weeks before the training date. Even if the training is fully funded by the Devon & Children Families Partnership (DCFP), we still maintain the right to charge as non-attendance prevents someone else from attending. We will invoice your organisation for £90 for a full-day course and £45 for a half-day course.

This course is fully-funded for Partners (including Health (NHS), Education (EY), Children Services, Probation). Other organisations may have to pay. We charge £45 for a half day course and £90 for a full-day course.
