Presentation & Workshop by Robert Fitzpatrick Play Therapist
Play Therapy specialises in the area of child development, attachment and trauma. ‘Seeing the child beyond their behaviour.’ Robert has experience of working with children that present as deeply hurt and disconnected from those around them, as well as those with specific developmental delays. He will be sharing with us his practices and letting us know how schools can access Play Therapy. The presentation will be followed by a practical workshop allowing us to see the work he carries out with children.

Presentation by Husbandry School
The Husbandry School aims to nurture the building blocks of self-esteem, and to pro-vide the tools to self-regulate social, emotional and behavioural interactions. Standing firmly on a solid foundation of respect and self-worth, in an environment that is designed to re-engage and re-inspire all in the process of learning.
They offer a therapeutic education placement in order to re-engage and re-inspire students with learning.

Well-being Workshop
Viv Taylor—School Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Therapist
Paula Davies—Pscho Dynamic Psychotherapist and Drama Therapist
Viv and Paula will be running a workshop about working with trauma in the class-room both from the pupils’ perspective angle and staff.

Supervision with an Educational Psychologist
A chance to seek advice and join in discussions about current challenges you may be experiencing. Supervision is recognised as playing a vital role in all ’helping professions’, it is for people who work with people. Supervision is a safe place for coaching professionals to experience reflective and experimental learning.


The cost of the conference is £50 for the day to include refreshments and lunch.
