Free Communication, Speech and Language training
The Communication Trust is offering a FREE online short course entitled An introduction to speech, language and communication.
The course offers a great way to start learning about children and young people’s speech, language and communication development. You will learn how best to support the development of these skills on a day-to-day practical basis in your setting, as well as how to spot the signs in those who may be struggling to develop these important abilities.
It has been tailored to suit the needs of practitioners working right across education phases. The course includes four different pathways:
- Early years
- Primary
- Secondary
- Further education
As a result, you will be able to choose the pathway most relevant to your work.
The course takes approximately half a day to complete.
