Public Health Nursing update

With the partial lifting of lockdown measures, the Public Health Nursing team wanted to provide a quick update on the latest changes to services.

Health Visitors will now be recommencing face-to-face contacts for new births across Devon. Meanwhile, all parents and parents-to-be in Devon, Torbay and Plymouth can now access a fantastic range of online courses that aim to improve emotional health and wellbeing by supporting relationships.

Elsewhere, School Nurses are helping with transition back to school (where appropriate) by providing continued support and guidance. And don’t forget, parents and young people alike can get free confidential advice and support on issues such as mental health via the ChatHealth text line.
