Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We would like to reassure you that we are closely monitoring the situation and working with the government and NHS. For guidance on coronavirus and the latest information on the situation in Devon, visit Devon County Council’s coronavirus (COVID-19) advice page. For more advice on how to stay healthy and active, visit NHS Devon. Or for guidance on keeping safe and new police powers, visit Devon and Cornwall Police’s coronavirus page.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, all training and events are cancelled until further notice.

In order to be able to offer continual professional development opportunities, we are now working with our trainers and providers (alongside our Partners) to develop digital courses, webinars, videos and e-learning modules to cover this period of social distancing.

If you have booked to attend one of our training sessions, you will be contacted in due course and offered the training in another format, if and when it is available.

In the absence of face-to-face training, don’t forget to look at all the resources on our website to help develop your knowledge and understanding. And we will continue to add training videos and e-learning modules to help with your practice development during this difficult time.

Any queries, or if there is a particular course that you would like to be able to access during this time, please email safeguardingelearning-mailbox@devon.gov.uk or call 01392 384785.
